7-Up Cake

A 7-Up Cake is a great pound cake to take to all gatherings.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 sticks butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3 tsp lemon extract
  • ¾ cup 7-Up

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time and then add flour, lemon extract and 7-Up
  • Bake at 350℉ for 1 hour or until toothpick in center comes out clean.

Notes

My Mother-in-Law had weekly orders for this cake. It has a nice fresh taste that people loved.
