Buttermilk Waffles

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • tsp baking powder 1
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • cups buttermilk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat waffle iron and lightly grease.
  • In a large bowl, sift the dry ingredients together.
  • In separate bowl, beat eggs, add the butter and buttermilk and continue beating until combined.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and mix well.
  • Pour the batter into the hot waffle iron and cook until golden brown and lightly crisp.
  • Remove and serve immediately.
