Yes, I’m in my 80s, and I’m just getting started.

I grew up in a world without personal computers, smartphones, the internet, or artificial intelligence. Over the years I’ve watched the world change from typewriters and encyclopedias to laptops, digital design tools, and AI assistants. Instead of being intimidated by technology, I’ve decided to embrace it and share my journey with others.

I’ve always loved creating. Crafts, printables, journals, recipes, digital products, and learning new skills have been a constant part of my life. As a multiple-stroke survivor, creativity has helped me through some difficult seasons, strengthened my memory, and reminded me that there is always something new to learn.

The Artistic Octogenarian was created to encourage lifelong learning, creativity, and the belief that age should never stop us from trying something new. Here you’ll find printables, digital products, recipes, tutorials, business experiments, AI discoveries, and the occasional lesson learned the hard way.

My goal isn’t to pretend I have all the answers. It’s to share what I’m learning, what I’m creating, and what I’m discovering along the way. If you’ve ever thought you were too old, too late, or too inexperienced to try something new, I hope this site encourages you to take the next step anyway.
