Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Very interesting cake, popular to take to gatherings.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 sticks butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 8 ozs cream cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups all purpose flour

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter, sugar and cheese about 5 minutes.
  • Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
  • Beat until very fluffy.
  • Add vanilla, add salt and flour gradually.
  • Mix only until well blended.
  • Put in a well greased and floured tube pan.
  • Bake at 325℉ until test done about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • If you feel the cake is browning too fast, lower the temp.
